Joomla 1.5
The Joomla! project have announced the a stable release of Joomla 1.5 code named Khepri.
The latest version of the award winning content management system has been completely redeveloped to incorporate some great new features which include
- Improved performance and security features
- Single Installer interface so you can now install extensions, templates, language files and bots from one location
- Simplified administrator interface making it easier to manage, create and publish articles to your web site
- New media manager makes it easier to organize, manage your images and documents plus add new images to articles
- Improvements in the SEF search engine friendly URLs and the way article titles and meta descriptions are handled
- Support for Legacy mode so you can still use Joomla 1.x versions of the templates and extensions
